Serapicos, Sweat Pants
Serapicos is a small village in the county of Bragança, a mountainous region, with great contrasts and diverse climatic and landscaping.
A region of strong traditions, it is worth taking part in the "Festa dos Rapazes" (Festival of the Lads), which has its origin to be lost in time.
On December 25, single boys go out in a colorful and noisy way, chase girls and expose the rumors of the villages. This is a ritual of cleansing and resurgence that coincides with the winter solstice and marks the beginning of a new cycle. Also, this festival celebrates the passing of young boys of about sixteen years of age into manhood.
